SIMPLY AMAZING! Everything was delicious and the service was on point. We’re from Kong Island, but will definitely visit again! Those pernil alcapurrias and bacalaitos were A+! Also tried the vegan sausage that were great.
This is a total vibe! The food, the music, the WALLS! the art. Ate dinner with friends, and our server was super knowledgeable and friendly. The DJ was spinning 🔥 the GOOD salsa, perfect mix of the old school and new, not the commercial basics. Same with the reggaeton. AND they do live BOMBA once a month. We will definitely be back many times this summer!!!!! Again, VIBE 🇵🇷🗽.cultura, conciencia, comida, musica, great drinks! And in the Boogie Down BX. There's lots of local parking all around. What else could you want?!
Great Experience from walking in to Leaving, Love the Atmosphere the Minute you walk in when we were greeted and Welcomed. The murials on the wall add to the Hispanic cultural Experience and the Food was excellently prepared and very good portions as well as being extremely delicious. The Live DJ played tunes from my favorite era of 80's & 90's. Parking was a little difficult because it's on a busy stretch of Castle Hill Avenue. This place is definitely worth the visit if you're in the area or just visiting definitely stop by you won't be disappointed. ENJOY....
Had a great time at Barrio Bx ..:Samantha the bartender was awesome - very attentive, friendly and our food was amazing. We had their pina coladas and damn, they know how to make them! We’ll definitely be back!!
My husband and I randomly selected this restaurant one night after not being able to decide what to eat. We’re so happy we did. We’ve been here over 15 times now. This establishment checks so many boxes. Food is amazing. Vibes are great. Service is good. Highly recommend.
This place was is a nice spot on castle hill right off Westchester Ave. The bacalaitos were amazing. Chicken soup was good. There is a bar and love dj. The music was pumping like it was a club. Might be loud for some, but it played nicely into the theme of the place. Patrons getting up dance. Very nice time while I was waiting for take out. I'll be back!!
So good, we went back the following day. I saw this spot featured on a social media short and decided to check it out. The first night, my girlfriend and I tried the mofongo with Chicharrón de cerdo. I need to say, this was one of the most tastiest mofongo's I've had in ages. I didn't inquire, but i got the impression that the gravy they used was something made specifically for the dish and not the sauce from another stew like most places do. The fried pork chunks were seasoned well and delish. The following day, we decided to go for brunch. My girlfriend had the tres golpes (mangu with fried salami, fried cheese and fried egg) and a mimosa. I tried the Coquito French Toast with fried chicken chunks. I left nothing on that plate. Both dishes were amazing and generously portioned. The staff there are friendly and pretty on point, considering there was only one server on the floor both days. And the wait for our meals were reasonable. We also loved the atmosphere with the Borikén-inspired murals and artwork and salsa playing in the background and patrons genuinely enjoying themselves. We will be back!
